Disclaimer

Free Online Signature creates a picture of a signature — a PNG or JPG file. It is not a legally binding electronic signature service. It does not sign documents, verify who you are, timestamp anything, or keep an audit trail.

Whether an image of your signature is accepted on a particular document depends on the document, the other party, and the law where you are. If a signature needs to be legally binding, use a dedicated e-signature service or ask a qualified professional.

Nothing on this site is legal advice. The guides and FAQs are general information only.

Only create and use a signature that is yours, or one you have clear permission to reproduce. Imitating someone else’s signature can be illegal.

We work to keep the tool accurate and reliable, but the result depends on your input — for example, the quality of an uploaded photo. Always check the downloaded image before you use it.
