The site lets you create an image of a signature by drawing it, typing your name in a handwriting style, or cleaning up a photo of a signature on paper. It does not sign documents, verify identity, or provide an electronic signature service. See our Disclaimer for details.

The site is free. There is no account, no sign-up, and no usage limit. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the site at any time.

Only create signatures that you are entitled to use — your own, or one you have clear permission to reproduce. You must not use the site to forge, imitate, or misuse another person’s signature, or for any fraudulent or unlawful purpose.

You are responsible for how and where you use the images you create.

You own the signature images you create. We never receive them. The site’s design, text, and code are owned by Free Online Signature. The handwriting fonts are used under their open-source licenses, listed on our About page.

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that the site will be error-free or always available.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Free Online Signature is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or the images you create with it.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site means you accept the updated terms.
