How to draw your signature online

The Draw tab works like a pen on paper. Strokes get thinner when you move quickly and fuller when you slow down, so the result looks handwritten rather than traced with a ruler. It works with a finger on a phone, a mouse or trackpad on a computer, or a stylus on a tablet.

Draw your signature step by step

1. Open the signature generator. The Draw tab is already selected.
2. Sign above the dotted line in one confident motion, the way you sign on paper. The page won’t scroll while your finger is inside the drawing box.
3. Made a mistake? Undo removes the last stroke, and Clear starts again.
4. Pick an Ink color: black, blue, dark blue, or the rainbow circle for any color. You can change it after signing; the whole signature is recolored.
5. Move the Pen slider to make the lines thinner or bolder. This also changes the signature you’ve already drawn, so you don’t need to sign again.
6. Tap Scroll down to download, check the preview under “Your signature”, then tap Download PNG.

Tips for a natural-looking signature

• Sign at your normal speed. The speed of your hand is what shapes the lines.
• Turn your phone sideways for a wider box. Your drawing is kept and resized when the screen rotates.
• Use the whole box. Empty space is cropped away automatically when you download.
• A stylus gives the most control, but a finger works well too. On a laptop, a mouse is usually easier than a trackpad.

Common mistakes and how to fix them

The lines look shaky or wobbly

You’re probably drawing slowly and carefully. Slow strokes pick up every small tremor. Tap Clear and sign in one quick, relaxed movement instead.

The signature looks too thin or too heavy

Drag the Pen slider. It adjusts the signature you already drew, so there’s no need to redo it.

The download buttons are greyed out

Nothing has been drawn on the current tab yet. Each tab opens its own page, so a signature drawn on Draw doesn’t carry over to Type or Upload.

The page scrolled instead of drawing

Your finger started outside the drawing box. Start every stroke inside the box, above the dotted line.

My signature disappeared

Nothing is saved on this site, for your privacy. Reloading, leaving the page, or switching to another tab clears your work, so download your signature before you go.
